Terms of Service

Welcome to Asal Al-Adwi. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website and online store (the "Site"), and your purchase of any products from us. By accessing the Site or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Site.

1. Account Terms

  • You may need to create an account to place an order or access certain features of the Site.
  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account and placing orders.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login details and for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information, violate these Terms, or are used for fraudulent activity.
  • You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent/guardian, to create an account or place an order.

2. Pricing and Payment

  • All prices listed on the Site are in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) unless otherwise stated, and are inclusive/exclusive of applicable taxes as noted at checkout.
  • We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice. The price charged will be the price displayed at the time you place your order.
  • Payment can be made through the methods listed at checkout, which may include Cash on Delivery (COD), JazzCash, Easypaisa, bank transfer, or card payments.
  • For prepaid orders, payment must be received in full before the order is processed and dispatched.
  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order if we suspect fraud, unauthorized payment, or pricing/listing errors.

3. Product Descriptions

  • We make every effort to accurately describe our products, including ingredients, weight, and packaging.
  • Product images are for illustrative purposes; actual packaging, color, or appearance may vary slightly due to the natural, minimally processed nature of our products (e.g., jaggery/Desi Shakkar color and texture can naturally vary batch to batch).
  • We do not guarantee that product descriptions or other content on the Site are error-free, complete, or current. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions at any time without prior notice.
  • Our products are food items; please review ingredient information carefully if you have allergies or dietary restrictions before purchasing.

4. Order Acceptance

  • Placing an order on our Site constitutes an offer to purchase. All orders are subject to acceptance by us.
  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for reasons including but not limited to: product unavailability, errors in pricing or product information, suspected fraudulent activity, or issues with your account.
  • If we cancel an order after payment has been made, we will issue a full refund using a reasonable method within a reasonable timeframe.
  • An order confirmation email/message does not guarantee product availability; final confirmation will be provided once the order is verified and dispatched.

5. Shipping and Delivery

  • We aim to process and dispatch orders within 1-2 business days of order confirmation.
  • Estimated delivery timelines vary depending on your location within Pakistan and are provided for guidance only; we are not liable for delays caused by courier services, weather, strikes, or other circumstances beyond our control.
  • Shipping charges, if any, will be clearly displayed at checkout.
  • Risk of loss and title for products pass to you upon delivery to the shipping address provided.
  • It is your responsibility to provide an accurate and complete delivery address and a reachable phone number. We are not responsible for delays or non-delivery caused by incorrect address information.

6. Returns and Refunds

  • As Desi Shakkar is a consumable food product, we do not accept returns or exchanges once an order has been delivered, including for change of mind.
  • Exception – Damaged or Incorrect Items: If you receive a product that is damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with your order number and photo/video evidence of the issue. Valid claims will be resolved via replacement or refund at our discretion.
  • Orders that are cancelled by us prior to dispatch, or refused/undelivered through no fault of the customer, will be refunded in full.
  • Refunds, where applicable, will be processed to the original payment method or via bank transfer/mobile wallet within a reasonable timeframe after approval.
  • Cash on Delivery orders that are refused at the doorstep without a valid reason may be subject to a re-delivery or restocking charge at our discretion.

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Site to:

  • Violate any applicable Pakistani law or regulation
  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information, including fraudulent orders or payment details
  • Infringe upon the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of Asal Al-Adwi or any third party
  • Upload or transmit viruses, malicious code, or attempt to interfere with the security or functioning of the Site
  • Scrape, copy, resell, or exploit any content, product listings, or pricing from the Site without our written permission
  • Harass, abuse, or threaten our staff, other customers, or third parties through the Site or associated communication channels

We reserve the right to terminate access to the Site and cancel any associated orders for violation of this section.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Pakistani law, Asal Al-Adwi shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or purchase of our products.
  • Our total liability for any claim arising from your order shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for that specific order.
  • We are not liable for any allergic reactions, adverse health effects, or misuse resulting from consumption of our products where accurate product and ingredient information was provided.
  • The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, except as required by applicable law.
  • Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under Pakistani law, including liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including the Asal Al-Adwi name, logo, branding, product descriptions, images, and design, is the property of Asal Al-Adwi and protected under applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use this content without our prior written consent.

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bahawalpur, Pakistan.
